2019 has new and exciting things on the rise for the John Holtger Racing Team! John and his team traveled to Las Vegas, NV for their debut in the U.S. Legend Cars racing series at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
John is showcasing #44 in this racing series under the Young Lion division! After only having one opportunity to practice on this vigorous asphalt track and see what he can do, John was hoping for the best as he prepped himself for race #1!!
Engines revved and ready to go, John was ready to race against 15 other fierce competitors in this feature that were a mix of Young Lions and Semi-Pro’s!
After 2 grueling days of racing, John walked away taking a 5th place on Saturday and a 6th place on Sunday!
This leaves John as the point leader for the U.S. Legend Car Young Lion division on the Silver State Road Course going into race #2! John had a total of 198 points with 98 being dropped. This leaves him with 100 points overall!
