The John Holtger Racing Team made their last visit to Victorville, CA for the 2019 season for the final rounds of the Lucas Oil So-Cal Regional Off-Road Racing Series!
Practice went well on Friday, and John felt the truck was dialed in and ready to race! 11 drivers were registered in the Mod Kart class on Saturday. John had a great morning, and qualified 1st! The race started with John battling with the second place truck, and ultimately got spun out and rolled over (2) times. After getting the truck back on its wheels and restarted, John rejoined the field at the back for the restart. John was able to work back through the field to finish the race with a strong 2nd place podium!
Sunday morning the team was back at it! John had another great qualifying round – starting the race P2! John battled the first part the race with the trucks in 1st and 3rd, held his position, and finished with another strong 2nd place podium!
Overall, it was a fantastic weekend for the team! This wrapped up the 2019 Lucas Oil So-Cal Regional Off-Road Racing Series season! It was definitely a fun year battling against the competition in this stacked Mod Kart class, so pretty exciting that John ended his 2nd year racing this series 2nd place in points!
